18 years of expertise. He worked with Bank One,
Midfirst Credit Union, and Liberty Savings Bank
in executive marketing and sales management
roles prior to founding MarketMatch. In his
consulting practice, he is leading a new wave of
customer service and bank marketing efforts
through an innovative process-driven marketing
10approach known as Customer Leadership
Marketing™, which guides banks to marketing
strategic focus, improved brand consistency,
deeper customer relationships, and revenue
generation, allowing clients to identify unique
selling propositions for their institution,
research the impact, define the difference,
develop strategies, and deliver the creative
difference to their customers.
He has received numerous awards for his work,
including Bank One President’s Sales Award, The
OCUL Marketing Brilliance Award, Dayton Business
News 40 Under 40 Award, and the 2005 Gold
Distinguished Alumni Award from Wright State
University. He is a member of the ABA Marketing
Conference Advisory Board, and serves on the
faculty of at the ABA School of Bank Marketing
and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking,
in addition to numerous speeches he delivers
with the American Bankers Association and State
Associations. His work has been published in the
ABA Marketing Network Library and the ABA Bank
Marketing magazine, and he is the author of the
book, “Marketing Financial Services: Building a
