The library is open to all students and
members year-round,
Saturday – Wednesdays, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm,
and on Thursdays
from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Since it was instituted in 1988, the
Academy's library has become one of the most
pioneering and specialized libraries in
Amman in the areas of financial and banking
sciences. it offers books, periodicals,
references books, and the entire database
that is essential to support the Academy's
various scientific activities. Among these
books is an excellent and modern collection
which was received in the form of a grant
from the Islamic Bank for Development in
Jeddah and the European Union.

The library encompasses (18500) books,
(12500) books in Arabic and (6000) books in
English, as well as subscriptions to (200)
periodicals, (50) in Arabic and (150) in
English.
In addition to these print publications is
the subscription to the e-library, The
Library is keen on following up on the
latest scientific and technological
developments in the areas of information
systems and services for the sake of
updating its referential and research
services.
Provision of access to information and
retrieval thereof via computers and using a
network database and the Internet, The
Library owns (11) databases stored on
CD-ROMs on different topics, most
importantly on:
The Library encompasses a wide
variety of Islamic heritage books,
Islamic Science of (Fiqh), and Islamic
financial dealings, all being stored on
CD-ROMs.
Subscription to EBSCO database.
The library has dedicated a hall in the
new complex to accommodate all its
contents and secure suitable place for
reading and doing research. |
