The Faculty of Banking and Financial Sciences/ Amman
Post graduate studies at the Arab Academy for Banking and
Financial Sciences were established in the 1990/91 academic
year in a newly founded department called the “Department of
Academic Affairs,” In 1996, the Department of Academic
Affairs became the College for Banking and Financial
Sciences.
The College continued to construct and develop its graduate
programs over the years. It now has the following scientific
departments:
Banking
Financial Markets
Islamic Banking
Financial Management
Accounting
Business Administration
Marketing
The Faculty grants the Masters Degree in
all above specializations, and the PhD Degree in
Banking, Islamic Banking, Accounting, Financial
Management, Business Administration and Marketing.
At the beginning of the year 2003, the Academy
inaugurated its Bachelor Degree Programs It now has the
following specializations:

Banking & Financial Management
Business Administration
Marketing
Faculty of Information Systems and
Technology - Amman
The Faculty of Information Systems and Technology was
established at the beginning of the first semester of
2004/2005. It now includes the following scientific
departments:
Computer Information Systems
Management Information Systems
Electronic Business
Security Information Systems
The Faculty grants the Degree (M.Sc.)
Degree in all these specializations, and the PhD and
B.Sc. Degrees in Computer Information Systems and
Management information Systems only.
Karak / Jordan The Academy initiated its B.Sc. program in Karak at
the beginning of the first semester of 2004/2005 in the
following fields of specialization:

Banking & Financial Management
Business Administration
Marketing
Computer Information Systems
Management Information Systems
Cairo / Egypt Branch
The Postgraduate College was establishe in Cairo – Egypt
in the year of 1990 as one of the Arab Academy's leading
branches. The College grants the following Degrees:

Business Administration, Insurance, and Management
Information Systems.
The M.Sc. Degree in: Accounting,

Damascus / Syria Branch
The Postgraduate Studies Program was establishe in
Damascus – Syria in the academic year of 2002/2003. The
College grants the following Degrees:

Sana'a/ Yemen Branch The College of Banking and Financial Sciences was
established in Sana'a- Yemen in the second semester of
2003/2004. The College grants the High Diploma and the (M.Sc.)
Degrees in the following fields of Specializations:
Banking, Islamic Banking, Accounting, Financial
Management, Financial Markets, Computer Information
Systems and (Business Administration in English).
Muscat/ Oman Branch The Academy initiated its Bachelors program in
Banking and Financial Sciences in Muscat – Oman in the
first semester of 2005/2006 in cooperation with the
College of Oman's College of Banking and Financial
Studies.
