In light of the critical role that mortgage finance will play in the economies of the countries of the region, FSVC and the Arab Academy organized a Regional Conference on Mortgage Finance to:
- Discuss the challenges and propose solutions as
to how to structure the mortgage markets in the
region.
- Highlight two main topics: the structure of the
mortgage market and how to design the mortgage
products in the difficult market conditions.
- Provide participants with knowledge on
international best practices in mortgage finance.
- Propose conclusions/recommendations reached by
the participants which will be consolidated by the
AABFS and FSVC and presented to mortgage authorities
in the region.
